Ingenium

We’re Ingenium, the Mechanical Department Forum of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru.

We organize and manage departmental events, industrial visits, technical workshops, hackathons, design competitions, and student engagement activities for the mechanical engineering community. We focus on giving students practical exposure beyond classrooms through real-world engineering environments, design activities, and collaborative projects.

We believe mechanical engineering is best learned by building, observing, and experiencing engineering systems in the real world — from manufacturing industries to automotive systems and mechanical design. At its core, Ingenium is about consistency and learning — developing an engineering mindset, collaborating with peers, and gaining exposure beyond the classroom.
